•DJ Kush [prononcez keuch] est l'un des précurseurs de la musique Jungle / Drum&Bass en France.
Il est l'un des initiateur des premières soirées D&B de Toulouse (la Torpille, le Bikini...)
on le retrouve à l'origine d'une des scènes musicales les plus intéressantes que l'on puisse trouver en France.
Il a notamment organisé toutes les soirées bimestrielles du Dragon Krew de 1997 à 2002.
•Ayant à son actif + de 500 soirées depuis sept. 97 (Paris / Rennes / Bordeaux / Montpellier / Marseille / Lyon / Nantes / Toulouse / San Sebastian / Barcelona / Madrid / Valencia et bien d'autres...
Kush se fait un devoir de faire monter la pression pendant ses setsavec des promos et des dubplates exclusives tout en privilégiant les rythmes « groovy » ainsi que les basses et les sonorités chaleureuses.
Ses mixes dans lesquels on retrouve l'influence des musiques Soul, Funk, Dub et Techno, vont du cool au percutant !
•Kush anime et mixe également dans son émission ‘Punk Phunk' Jungle, D‘n'B, BreakBeat, 2 Step, UK Garage...

•Kush began on the French drum & bass scene at the end of 1996, as one of its co-fonder and as a DJ of course. In 1998 he formed the collective "Dragon Krew" (with Brooxs, Le Lutin, Sti, Peyo & Youthman) and he took part in many drum & bass residencies and gigs in Toulouse.
•As he was noticed by the quality of his mixes (eclectic selection, precise mixing and his ability to mash up the dancefloor) Kush got booked on the biggests electronic events and bombed more than 500 dancefloors across France and Spain since 1997 : Paris / Rennes / Bordeaux / Montpellier / Marseille / Lyon / Nantes / Toulouse / San Sebastian / Barcelona / Madrid / Valencia and many more...
•He has spinned records at the sides of Dillinja, Hype, Zinc, Doc Scott, Marky, Wildchild, Dom & Roland, Marcus Intalex, Smokey Joe, Danny Wheeler, MC Wreck, Dee Nasty, Le Lutin, Brooxs, Flow, Miss Ficel, Science, Natty Bass, Kafra, MC Youthman, MC Jamalski, MC Kray z b, Redeyes, Peyo, Flore, Star-Eyes...
He's truly one of the few french D'n'B artists that big D'n'B promoters trust in.
•Influenced by the Afro-American musics and also by Reggae, Punk, Rock and new electronic tendencies, he decided to start producing D&B around 2003 and he released his first vinyl "Frisco E.P."on his own label. Since that, Kush works on several collaborations with different artists (SKS, Peyo, Redeyes, Brooxs, mc Youthman...) and one of his last co-writing "Closer To U" has been playlisted by dj Bailey in his radio show on BBC 1XTRA (25th june 2006).
•Since 2000 dj Kush runs his own radio show, "Punk Phunk" alongside dj Dread-I-Licious on www.radiocampustoulouse.com from 8:00 to 10:00 pm GMT each saturdays (France : 21h/23h).
