Roland Becker is coming back in 2007 with a new and tenth album of music genetically modified and curiously accessible. Descendant of Talvin Singh or Björk, Roland Becker is carrying out a reading which is a little pop art and still more inventive.The Cossack from Brittany ventures, once again brilliantly, into a new fusion which he calls «intermixed world electric». And as we could have expected, he totally revolutionizes this kind of music. As he himself explains : «I tried to compose this music as if it was the electro pop sound track of a film by Dario Argento».
Every sound, lovingly tampered and re tampered with, gently remodelled and stocked before being pelted with hundreds of mega volts, goes through this new album which, once again, finds the trademark of Roland Becker, full of adrenaline. For his very first record in 1982, he had already done his utmost to generate a real partition which created a promising atmosphere.
So, dont forget our date to discover this tenth cornerstone of the catalogue Becker, who will see again on stage as soon as the album is released.

Roland Becker revient en 2007 avec un nouvel et 10e album de musique génétiquement modifiée et curieusement accessible. Dans la lignée des Talvin Singh ou Björk, Roland Becker procède ici à une lecture un brin plus pop-art et d'autant plus inventive. Le Cosaque de Bretagne s'aventure encore brillamment vers une nouvelle fusion qu'il qualifie de «world électriquement métissée». Et comme on pouvait s'y attendre, il révolutionne totalement le genre. Comme il l'explique lui-même, «j'ai essayé de composer cette musique comme s'il s'agissait de la B.O. electro-pop d'un film de Dario Argento».
Chaque son amoureusement trafiqué et re-trafiqué, délicatement remodelé et caressé, avant d'être "bombardé" de centaines de méga volts, transperce de part en part ce nouvel album qui retrouve une nouvelle fois la marque de fabrique bourrée d'adrénaline de Roland Becker. Déjà pour son tout premier vinyle en 1982, il s'était évertué à générer une véritable partition qui suscitait une ambiance annonciatrice.
Rendez-vous donc en 2007, pour découvrir la dixième pierre angulaire du catalogue Becker que l'on retrouvera sur scène dès la sortie de l'album.
